Dirty Rascal to Host Beyoncé-Themed Drag Brunch on Sunday, Aug. 13
(Atlanta, Ga.) – On Sunday, August 13, Dirty Rascal, the modern Italian-American restaurant at the Thompson Atlanta-Buckhead, will host Beyhive Buckhead Drag Brunch, a Beyoncé-themed celebration in honor of the performer’s RENAISSANCE tour stop in Atlanta. During the two-seating brunch from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 2 to 4 p.m., guests can enjoy a performance from popular Beyoncé impersonator, Trinity K. Bonet of RuPaul’s Drag Race, a RENAISSANCE-inspired menu, music from DJ Boogie Lov and more. After brunch, attendees are invited to the official RENAISSANCE Day Party at Tesserae, the exclusive rooftop bar at the Thompson Atlanta-Buckhead. Reserve your table now.
Beyhive Buckhead Drag Brunch will be hosted by Sophia Mcintosh and feature live drag performances from Trinity K. Bonet, Necole Luv Dupree, Christion Lord Bonet and Amaya D Glamazon. The event will take place on the concert day-off of the four-day tour stop, so concert-goers are encouraged to attend. Each general admission ticket includes access to the show, an entree and a mimosa. Attendees can try delicious cocktails and mocktails including the Virgo’s Groove, Thique and Energy, as local celebrity DJ, DJ Boogie Lov, spins Beyoncé’s greatest hits. VIP tickets include an opportunity to meet and greet with Trinity K. Bonet from 1:15 to 1:45 p.m.
Immediately following Beyhive Buckhead Drag Brunch, Tesserae will host the RENAISSANCE Day Party. From 1 to 7 p.m., guests can enjoy specialty craft cocktails while Atlanta-based DJ, producer, and radio personality, DJ Jazzy T, spins a Renaissance-inspired set. Admission to the Renaissance Day Party is free, but costs for food and beverages will vary.
Beyhive Buckhead Drag Brunch and Renaissance Day Party are 21+ events. Event attendees are encouraged to bring cash for tipping the drag performers.
